Located near Largentieres you can visit the medieval castle  It's situeded in a dominant position with a verry nice view on de nearly aeria (alt 289 m) The  Dongon from the XII century  is unique in Ardèche

  Beautiful Renaissance courtyard, with mullioned windows, hanging balconies, grand spiral staircase, vaulted rooms. Montreal is one of the jewels of the crown castrale Largentière (Ardèche), and with Brison Chassiers Tauriers, Vinezac and Uzer was guarding the silver-mining (coinage in the Middle Ages.)
